Pace is looking for Part Time Operators to supplement the full-time staff of Associates. Experience in a Machine Shop and/or Manufacturing environment preferred. General Labor/Operators are generally required to operate our manufacturing machinery in strict compliance with approved processes. Operators will be assigned to one or more of the following departments: Die Cast, CNC, Finishing and Assembly. Operators are responsible for visual inspection of die cast parts for quality. Operators are responsible for keeping the machine running, and to perform required secondary operations. Secondary operations are, but not limited to, trimming, sanding / filing, and drilling. It is the Operators responsibility to keep their workstation neat and orderly. We will consider both experienced and entry level candidates.

Job Functions:

  • Learn the operation of the die cast and/or CNC machines.

  • Observe continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure that products meet specifications and that the machine achieves maximum uptime.

  • Visually inspect products for surface and obvious dimensional defects in order to ensure conformance to specifications.

  • Trim excess material from parts.

  • Place product into appropriate container.

  • Accurately record production transactions and work time.

  • Must follow all safety rules and policies as set forth by OSHA guidelines and Pace Industries


  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others, and to follow instructions.

  • Demonstrates a high level of dependability.

  • Ability to learn and properly apply new job-related information in a timely manner.

  • Ability to perform basic measurement and basic math tasks.
