Part-Time On-Air Host

CUMULUS MEDIA |Minneapolis-Saint Paul is looking for a Part-time on-air host or co-host for KQRS-FM Minneapolis, Minnesota, which may include Saturday or Sunday shows or fill-in for Monday through Friday shifts for legendary Classic Rock station 92 KQRS. We seek proven professional entertainers with a history of success and a strong work ethic. Must be reliable, have a flexible schedule and ability to learn the station's audio equipment, and create audience engagement.

Who We Are:

CUMULUS | Minneapolis, MN has a 3 station cluster (92 KQRS, 93X, LOVE 105). We are located centrally between Minneapolis & St. Paul, near the University of MN Campus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Host or Co-host on-air

• Ability to prepare content for on-air and collaborate with co-hosts.

• Run the control board in the studio.

• Execute the delivery of all commercials as scheduled

• Monitor and rebroadcast required EAS Alerts, Weather Warnings, Ambers Alerts, and Breaking News.

Qualifications:

• Fun, collaborative, charismatic, and well-controlled voice; excellent pronunciation.

• Socially aware and perceptive; up-to-date with the local events, news, and national trends or knowledge of content related to on-air discussions.

• Strong communication skills with proficiency in grammar, writing, and editing.

• Social Media skills.

• 5 years as a successful on-air talent or entertainer.

• Proficiency with computer systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Audition, radio audio delivery software, or other audio editing and automation programs.

• Reliable with a flexible schedule, available for workdays, mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
