Newton, MA - Part Time Nanny/Driver

Seeking a reliable and flexible Morning Nanny and driver to assist with their two energetic children aged 7 and 9 years old and a friendly dog. Looking for someone who can help manage school drop-offs, pet care, and occasional after-school pick-ups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Morning Schedule (Wednesday & Friday):

• Arrive by 5:30 AM to assist with getting the children ready for school.

• School drop off for both children at different schools.

• Ensure both children are prepared and ready for the day.

• Friday Afternoon Pick-up (3:55 PM - 6:00 PM):

• School pick up and assist with any after-school needs.

• potential for more hours to arrive at 3pm to walk the dogs,

• Backup Nanny Duties:

• Serve as a backup nanny during the parents’ frequent travels (2-3 times every four months) and assist when the full-time nanny is unavailable.

• Be flexible with hours, especially during travel weeks (including the second week of September and November).

• Pet Care:

• Walk and care for the family dog during your time in the home.

Requirements:

• Must be an early riser and comfortable working with children who have learning disabilities
• Strong driving skills with a preference for candidates who can use their own vehicle (mileage reimbursement or a gas stipend will be provided). A family car is available if necessary.
• Flexibility to take on additional hours as needed, especially during travel periods.
• Must be reliable, energetic, and ready to keep up with two lively children

• Experience with school-age children and an understanding of children with learning disabilities is a plus.

Compensation:

• $35/hour
• Mileage reimbursement or gas stipend provided if using your own car
• Benefits: PTO and paid holidays

Hours:

• Wednesday and Friday 5:30am- 8am
• Friday pick up: 3:55 pm -6pm
• Guaranteed hours every week
• Opportunities for additional hours based on travel and the full-time nanny’s schedule
