Part Time Merchandiser is responsible for obtaining schedule and order information for assigned accounts and calling on those accounts in a timely fashion.
Through the use of Best Practice techniques, the Merchandiser maintains the greeting card department(s) by ordering/reordering merchandise, straightening merchandise on display, putting up or taking down seasonal merchandise, sorting, removing, preparing product for credits, assisting with inventories, works effectively and efficiently within designated hours, sets up displays per chain guidelines, communicates with Supervisor regularly and completes assigned paperwork correctly and on time.
The Merchandiser plans weekly schedule through obtaining order and scheduled hours from WHQ. Contacts store management in a professional/customer-driven manner on every call using Best Practices, maintains the Everyday & Seasonal Department.
Hours vary due to activities, revisions, and additional service requirements at store level. Hours fluctuate starting around 1 to 2 hours per week.
