VIEW JOBS 5/26/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-08-24T00:00 Position Title Clinical Nurse (Registered Nurse) - HC5 Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit - Part Time/Full Time Main Campus Position Summary / Career Interest: The Clinical Nurse provides professional nursing care through assessment and accurate documentation, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation for the comfort and well-being of patients. Carries out a plan of care specific to unit competencies for the target patient population. Coordinates care delivery and education through collaboration with patient, family and all health care team providers to ensure safe, effective and quality patient care. Follows organizational policies in providing safe patient care. Performs other duties as assigned. HC5 Cardiovascular PCU This progressive care unit is considered more of a stepdown unit for our ICU patients. With a nurse to patient ratio of 1:4, our acutely ill cardiovascular patients and those who require continuous monitoring and specialized interventions receive expert care on this unit. We provide advanced and specialized care to patients who typically have acute myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure (both primary diagnosis & history of CHF), rhythm disturbances and pacemaker issues. We partner with the Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab to take excellent care of our patients. Our team atmosphere allows nurses to thrive and we have a great mix of skill level. You are able to continually grow your nursing and leadership skills quickly. The care of the cardiology patient is continuing to advance, and we change with the best in evidence based practice. We have many cardiac competencies that are unique to our unit where you can excel as a cardiac nurse with a well-rounded set of skills that allow you to care for anyone!
