Work Schedule: Monday- Thursday 8:00am- 12:00pm
This is a professional health care position that performs testing on human body fluids such as blood, urine, and sputum in a CLIA certified laboratory. This position will perform testing on specimens from SCHD and outside clinics to assist in controlling the spread of disease and identifying chronic conditions. While General supervision is received from the Laboratory Manager, the employee must be able to perform all testing independently to provide accurate and timely results. Employee will provide support during public health emergencies (Activation Level 1).

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Medical Technology. Certified through ASCP or equivalent as a Registered Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist within 6 months of hire. Must complete Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) IS 100 and 700 courses within 30 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications: Four years of experience in a related field. Current certification through ASCP or equivalent as a Registered Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist.
