We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable medical student or recent medical graduate to join our team as a Medical Content Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for creating evidence-based content on various pregnancy-related topics, including gestational diabetes, hypertension, cesarean sections, mental health, nutrition, fetal development, and more

Consulting to be performed M-F during normal business hours.

No more than 20 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Research and gather evidence-based information on pregnancy-related topics from reputable sources, medical journals, and clinical guidelines.

  • Develop engaging and informative written content, including articles, blog posts, fact sheets, and educational materials, tailored to expectant parents.

  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including healthcare professionals, designers, and developers, to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.

  • Collaborate with our data science team to explore new areas of content and research.

  • Review and update existing content regularly to ensure accuracy, currency, and adherence to best practices in maternal-fetal medicine.

  • Participate in content planning meetings and contribute ideas for new topics and features to enhance the user experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in medical school or recently completed medical school (MD, DO, or equivalent degree).

  • Background in obstetrics, gynecology, maternal-fetal medicine, or related fields.

  • Excellent research skills and ability to critically evaluate medical literature and clinical guidelines.

  • Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex medical concepts into clear, accessible language for a lay audience.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.

  • Passion for women's health and improving pregnancy outcomes.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience in medical writing, content development, or health education.

  • Interest or familiarity with digital health platforms and pregnancy apps.

  • Interest or experience in public health, health promotion, or patient education initiatives.

Pay

  • $30.00-$45.00 per hour.

  • No more than 20 hours per week.
