The Hourly Range: $58.44 - $93.43

Doctorate Range: $68.87 to 95.89

(2021-2021 Certified Part-time Instructor/Overload Hourly Salary Schedule)

Personnel new to the District are limited to a maximum 10th step placement based on previous experience: $90.73.

Benefits

With the exception of Workers' Compensation benefits; this classification is not eligible for District paid benefits.

Position Summary Information

Scope of Assignment

Under the general supervision of the Division Dean for the discipline, the successful applicant will provide lecture and/or laboratory instruction in accordance with course descriptions, outlines, and class schedules; evaluate progress of students; advise students concerning educational matters, and perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in mathematics or applied mathematics OR bachelor's degree in either of the above AND master's degree in statistics, physics, or mathematics education OR

the equivalent.

Desirable Qualifications

Experience teaching college level Math

Desirable Professional Characteristics Example of Duties

Teaching, preparation of materials, grading, maintaining the work environment
