Part-Time Mail Clerk & Events Assistant

POSITION INFO:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mail Clerk & Events Assistant to join our team in a part-time capacity. Monday through Friday, 8a to 1p. This position will be responsible for running the Corporate Mailroom, answering the main switchboard line, and assisting with corporate events as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sort and route incoming mail, collect outgoing mail & meter with postage.
• Process outgoing UPS packages and help with delivering incoming packages.
• Assist with incoming deliveries such as UPS, Fed-X, DHL and maintain delivery log for these deliveries.
• Answer main switchboard line and route calls as needed.
• Monitor incoming fax mailbox and forward faxes to appropriate department.
• Assist with Corporate Events as needed.

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with UPS Software beneficial.
• Experience with copy machines and scanners beneficial.
• Experience with Outlook, Microsoft Word & Excel preferred.

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or GED

TRAINING AND SKILLS:

• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communicator and a team collaborator.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:

• Ability to lift up-to 40 lbs. at a time (boxes.)
• Able to bend, kneel, or stand frequently.
