Part Time Magnet Elementary Teacher

"Job Title: Magnet Teacher Wage/Hour Status: $10-$22/per hour

Reports to: Building Principal Pay Grade: Part time
Dept./School: Milam Magnet Elementary Days: 178
Supervises: N/A
Primary Purpose: Design and implement a magnet class that will relate to the visual and performing arts. Examples of past classes include: dance, choir, Suzuki violin, drama, piano, harp, ballet folkloric, gymnastics, Tae Kwan Do, etc.

Qualifications:Education/Certification: High School Diploma or higher

Special Knowledge Skills: Expertise in a field related to Fine Arts

Experience: Knowledge of the class being taught

Major Responsibilities and Duties: Responsible for lesson planning and implementation, supervising students during magnet arrival and dismissal.Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A
Working Conditions:Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Maintain emotional control under stress. Districtwide and statewide travel; occasional prolonged or irregular hours.
