JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Law seeks to hire a linguist, part-time (30 hours/week) to support our 221 international law students (45) countries for fall semester 2021.
The part-time linguist will work with Penn State Law's full-time linguist, helping international students with writing, conversational, and analytical skills. The position is open immediately and will continue through December 15, 2021.
The candidate should hold a master's degree in linguistics, though a Ph.D. is preferred, and have 4 or more years work experience working with ESL students. Experience with law students is especially valued.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
