We seek applicants who are dedicated to serving The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley's diverse student body as a Part Time Lecturer of The School of Earth, Environmental and Marine Sciences beginning in the 2023-2024 academic year.

The School of Earth, Environmental and Marine Sciences at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) occasionally has the need to hire Part-time Lecturers to teach in its Bachelor of Science program. We are searching for a dynamic individual, who is committed to excellence in the classroom and can contribute to a rapidly growing major and assist in the process of expanding course offerings.

Responsibilities include delivering quality instruction in undergraduate environmental science courses. Employment is subject to change based on enrollment needs and budgetary approval.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in related area from an accredited university.

Discipline Specific Required Qualifications

Maintain a dedication to excellence in teaching.

Preferred Qualification

Previous teaching experience at the university level is desirable, as well as is the ability to use technology to support teaching and learning.

Salary Part-time lecturers are paid on a per SCH basis commensurate with experience and/or qualifications. Employment is subject to change based on enrollment needs and budgetary approval.
