Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Learning Services Program, a program for first year students with learning disabilities, is looking for a part-time Learning Support Specialist for the academic year.
Essential Functions:
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
The position is expected to be 15 to 20 hours a week, and starts in late August.
Training and supervision will be provided.
Salary Range:
Required Education and Experience:
Master's degree in education, counseling, or related field preferred.
Experience working with students with learning disabilities and ADHD and the accommodations process.
Experience providing one-on-one academic support services.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Familiarity with the developmental issues of college students.
Academic support experience.
Excellent organizational, verbal, and writing skills.
