Position Description:
Minimum of three years' experience maintaining and repairing small engines in a professional setting
Experience teaching adults strongly preferred
Available to teach at least two evenings a week as scheduled throughout the spring, summer, and fall terms
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in training and teaching others
Essential Job Functions for all ACD Instructors:
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and experience in the appropriate subject matter.
Instruct students in competency-based program curriculum using current instructional strategies appropriate to the subject matter to assure highest quality classroom instruction.
Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment.
Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance, academic progress and grades as required by district policy and certification/regulatory agencies.
Ensure syllabus, supply list and lesson plans are current prior to each class taught.
Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism (i.e. - prepared, reliable, responsible, punctual, etc.)
Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the mission and goals of Tulsa Tech's ACD program.
Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the ACD department.

Standard rate schedule for non-regular (temporary, adjunct, substitute) and regular part-time employees
