Overview: CDT is seeking to detailed-oriented and motivated Part-Time, Part-Time Hybrid Junior Financial/Accounting Admin to join our corporate team in Dulles, VA. This is an ENTRY-LEVEL, part-time position that requires 3 days IN OFFICE in Dulles and 2 days WFH, for a total of 25-28 hours per week. The ideal candidate will also be willing to support general office operations (admin tasks) for a small business, in addition to providing financial support as directed.Clearance:Candidates are required to be U.S. Citizens and be able to pass a 5-year background investigation. Be able to obtain a clearance if required. Responsibilities:
Analyzes problems. Examines information and finds discrepancies. Works toward finding and offering solutions.
Complete audits of employee benefits, bills, contract invoicing, etc.
Assist in processing payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Assist in financial tasks such as invoicing, expense report submission, tracking, and reconciliation.
Responds to employee inquiries.
Support other Office Admin and HR functions and initiatives as needed: perform general administrative duties, including maintaining office supplies and equipment, keeping the kitchen/break room clean and stocked. Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries. Act as a point of contact between clients, vendors, and internal team members.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – specifically, Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High level of professionalism and confidentiality
Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Strong organizational and time management abilities
