Part-Time HR And Recruiting Assistant (On-Site)

Overview

The Woodbury, Long Island office of Kaufman Dolowich, an AV-rated firm designated one of the "Best Companies to Work For" among U.S. law firms by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking candidates as an HR and Recruiting Assistant to join our team. The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide.

This individual will be involved in key projects in the Human Resources Department and assist with Recruitment.

Flexible schedule and work arrangement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilites:

• Enroll employees into Firm Benefits and process changes as needed

• Collaborate with attorneys and office managers to identify recruiting needs and create/post ads for administrative positions in the Applicant Tracking System

• Review all candidates and forward qualified candidates to hiring managers

• Schedule qualified candidates for interviews by receiving mutual availability for both hiring managers and candidates

• Produce weekly HR reports ad hoc projects

• Create monthly newsletters

Qualifications

• Proficiency using MS Word, Excel and Outlook

• Willingness to learn

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Superior organizational skills and strong attention to detail

• Comfortable interacting with employees at all levels (including Partners)

• Be able to handle confidential information such as employee files

• Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task

The hourly salary range for this position is $15.00 - $24.00 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
