JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Golf Instructor to join our team for the summer. This role will support our teaching programs, including "Get Golf Ready," PGA Sports Academies, and PGA Jr. Leagues. The ideal candidate will assist in coaching students of all ages and skill levels, helping to foster a love for golf and improve their techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the instruction of golf lessons and programs for various age groups.

• Support the lead instructor in organizing and conducting "Get Golf Ready" sessions.

• Help facilitate PGA Sports Academy camps and activities.

• Assist with coaching and coordination of PGA Jr. League teams.

• Provide individualized feedback and guidance to students.

• Ensure a safe and encouraging learning environment.

• Set up and maintain equipment for lessons and programs.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of golf techniques and rules.

• Experience in golf instruction or coaching preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work with children and adults of all skill levels.

• Enthusiastic and patient, with a passion for teaching golf.

• Availability during summer months.

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to applicable background checks.
