SUMMARY

As a Part-time General Winery Worker in the Spirits Plant you will be responsible for keeping machines full of proper materials/supplies and keeping the machine's surrounding area clean. Must be able to work any shift, rotating shifts, overtime (as needed) and weekends (if needed).

COMPENSATION

$19.90 per hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Lifts and loads onto a conveyor belt empty bottles which weigh from twelve to twenty eight pounds when assigned to a "dumping" station.

  • Removes any cases which are empty or contain broken bottle(s) when assigned to the detecting station.

  • Performs the role of part-time general light worker which includes tasks such as inspecting, standing up fallen bottles on a bottling line, repairing or salvaging product.

  • Performs other duties including emptying glass into trash cans, emptying trash cans into larger push carts, removing excessive cases from the conveyor belt, handling pallets of packaging materials, and general cleanup within the factory area.

  • Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.

  • Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory consideration.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.

  • Required to be 18 years of age.

  • Required to pass WorkKeys Assessments.

  • Required to work any shift and any day.

  • Required to lift and carry 28 pounds constantly.

  • Stand up lifting of 50 pounds required.

  • Required to lift and carry 60 pounds occasionally.

  • Required to comply with company GMP Policies.

  • Experience working in a fast paced environment.

  • Experience working in a team environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Two years of work experience; or previous Grad to Gallo or Gallo seasonal experience.

  • Gallo Gateway to Industry Intern Program.

  • Two years of experience working in a manufacturing environment; or previous Grad to Gallo or Gallo seasonal experience.
