Per Mar Security Services has been a family owned and operated, full-service security company since its inception in 1953. We provide security officer, electronic security, fire alarm and background and investigative services, serving customers in multiple states throughout the Midwest region.

Per Mar Security Services is looking to hire a part-time security officer for Menards in Dubuque, Iowa.

Duties include: allowing access to the yard for deliveries and customer pickups. Checking loads upon exiting the yard to ensure they have the correct items. Walking the yard following store closing. Other duties as assigned. This position may require the ability to stand for long periods of time.

You must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Work schedule consists of Sun, Thurs, Fri. one week. Sun, Tues, Thurs, Friday the next week. Average of 24 a week.

The start time will be either 5:50 a.m. or 7:50 a.m. This position has an end time every day at 1:00 p.m.

Hourly pay of $18.50. $19.50 on weekends. This is an unarmed position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor traffic entering and exiting the yard of the business.

• Check yard following close of business.

• Report any facility issues

• Request emergency personnel for high risk situations

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older

• Strong attention to detail

• Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security - Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.

• Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
