Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Part Time Prep Cook/ Food Service Worker at our Conference Center in Ogden/Clearfield, Utah.


Role description & Responsibilities:
  • 1 to 3 years of cooking, grill and cafeteria experience.

  • Possession or ability to obtain appropriate food handling permits or serve safe training.

  • Safe and proper operation of equipment, machines and utensils used in quantity food preparation and serving operations

  • Clean relevant service, preparation and storage areas

  • Must be a team player who can work well under pressure and effectively solve problems.

  • Demonstrates superior customer service.

  • Able to take direction and work independently with little supervision.

  • Able to carry loads greater than 35 pounds, and be able to transport up to 70 pounds regularly.

  • Excellent attendance is required with schedule flexibility determined by business needs.

  • Able to operate cash register and credit card transactions. Basic mathematical computations

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED

Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics sector is looking for a Director of Programs Level 1 at the Clearfield Utah location to manage a suite of our growing Advanced Programs and Program Manager teams. Tasks include: leading and managing a team of Program Managers; leading and managing the primary program through EMD and into Initial Production; managing the overall P&L for the program suite; establishing and monitoring program health metrics; working with cross functional teams to drive requirements, design, tooling, processes and subcontractor improvements to meet affordability, schedule and quality targets; and working with business teams to ensure financial performance and predictability objectives are achieved. Essential Functions: * Lead, guide and direct the Program Management team and supporting teams in all phases of the program life cycle from inception (proposal development) through startup, successful execution, and completion (contract closeout) * Ensure successful management of cost, schedule and technical performance of the program portfolio * Direct program strategic development activities in coordination with other Aeronautics System organizations, including developing and executing growth strategies, identifying new business opportunities, establishing pursuit priorities, gaining and growing customer intimacy, and developing successful capture plans. * Direct capture lead and program management activities, and assist with proposal development in response to customer requests for proposals. * Present and report to customers, executive management and other program stakeholders * Develop and support strategies for the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditions * Ensure adherence to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree and 25 years, or Master's and 20 years' experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and/or project management in other industries. * 15 years of experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager. * Prior Defense or Aerospace industry experience * Current DoD Secret or Top Secret in-scope clearance * Ability to obtain special program access Preferred Qualifications: * Demonstrated strategic planning and execution experience for DoD programs * Knowledge of survivability technologies and their application * Knowledge of composite structure fabrication and bonding methods and associated technologies. * Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
