Part Time Faculty - AER 2710 Special Topics In Aviation-Electric Aviation

The Professional Pilot Technology Department of Vermont State University (VTSU) invites applications for Fall 2023 (August 21, 2023 - December 15, 2023).

The course to be taught is AER 2710 Special Topics in Aviation-Electric Aviation

This is a Special Topics in Aviation course for Fall 2023. Students will study the research and development underway locally and globally of the exciting world of electric aviation.

Experience hands-on flight simulators and meet the engineers and pilots. Students will learn about current challenges of policy and regulation facing electric aviation. This is an interactive and dynamic class.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants should have some aviation background and/or engineering experience. Pilot certification is not required.

Electric aircraft knowledge a plus. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Teaching experience at the college level is preferable.

Salary:

Based on credits previously taught per VSC-VSCPTF Bargaining Unit Agreement.
