Dakota State University is seeking applications for a part-time, non-benefit eligible Facility Worker to work Monday
Friday mornings. The work shift could be 4am
7:45am or 5am
8:45am depending on applicant preference.
Responsibilities:
Floor care: sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, but could also include waxing, and shampooing carpets.
Clean and sanitize designated areas.
Collect and remove trash from building.
Wash walls, woodwork, and windows.
Remove snow from steps and sidewalks near buildings.
Successful candidate must be able to:
Follow written and oral instructions.
Operate required cleaning equipment.
Work positively and professionally with students, co-workers, and the public.
Work independently.
Work on a 3 to 6 ft ladder
Lift 50 pounds.
Work an occasional Holiday or weekend.
