Part-Time Facilities Worker
Serve the campus community in the capacity determined by the Director of Operations. Responsibilities could include:
Diagnose and perform routine repairs to campus facilities
Assist with set up and tear down of special events
Assist with department moves
Perform Other Related Duties as Assigned
Reports to the Director of Operations
High School Diploma
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform any activity needed to set up or tear down special events and department moves; this includes the handling of materials, large and small
Assist with campus deliveries
Perform basic maintenance/repair work as assigned (i.e., drywall repair, painting, basic plumbing, hanging pictures/shelving, framing, etc.)
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
Hot and Cold
Ability to perform heavy manual labor, including bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting heavy objects up to 75lb.
Attentive to detail, a self-starter, and ability to work without close supervision.
Ability to read and follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to work cooperatively with other employees and the general public.

Ability to lift seventy-five (75) pounds
Ability to operate forklift or become a certified forklift operator
