JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT

The Registered Nurse will perform occupational health care activities, including health and wellness training and education, employee health services and compliance. In this position you'll be licensed to practice in your state of employment or equivalent in other geographies.

$10,000 Sign-In Bonus will be offered for this career opportunity, paid over the course of first year of employment

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Using technical knowledge and training, assist in designing and executing employee health and wellness programs.

• Conduct safety and ergonomic training and administer drug and alcohol programs.

• Treat, evaluate and assess employee illness or injury and determine medical direction.

• Develop, formulate and implement plans of care based on stand order and medical directives.

• Help determine what employees can do under restrictive duty, when they can return to work and when to refer them to an outside medical provider.

• Support OSHA-required record keeping.

• You will work under direct supervision and handle basic issues and problems, while referring more complex issues to higher-level staff.

• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or High school diploma or secondary education level and equivalent of two years of related work experience.

• Demonstrate strong computer/technical skills and capabilities (e.g. Must type >70wpm, Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint).

• Active License to practice Nursing in Nebraska active License to practice Nursing in Nebraska.

• Availability to work evening rotating shift from 2 pm to 10 pm and from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am

• Schedule flexibility work on Saturdays as needed.

• First aid and Triaging experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed practical nurse or vocational nurse or equivalent in other geographies

• Bilingual in English & Spanish (able to read, write, and speak)

• Case manager experience and knowledge of workers compensation

• Occupational Health experience
