The Driver picks up customers and in some instances, employees and delivers them safely and timely to the appropriate destination(s) while giving helpful, courteous and professional customer service.
This opening is located in Sterling, VA at our branch on Lane Court.
The Driver is responsible for the transporting of customers to and from locations, as well as navigating written directions.
Interact with customers, solve problems, and provide excellent customer service
Drive and deliver vehicles locally as needed, following all rules of the road
Deliver customers, employees, or vehicles to appropriate destination in a safe and courteous manner
Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up multiple vehicles
Organize travel route as needed to ensure timely service
May need to communicate via 2-way radio or cellular phone
May be asked to clean vehicle and/or keep vehicle clean during shift
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Must be at least 18 years old.

Must have a valid US driver's license for a minimum of 1 year.
Must have minimum of 1 year experience in the last 6 years in any of the following (will consider PT experience):
Customer service, administrative, labor, retail, etc.
Leadership role in civic or service group, non-profit organization or association, campus or other club (i.e., Rotary, Kiwanis, Junior League, VFW, Chamber of Commerce, student service organization, college clubs)
Participation as an athlete on a professional, semi-professional or college team athlete
OR be currently enrolled in college full time for a minimum of 1 year
Must have satisfactory background check inclusive of driving (no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years, and no drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the last 5 years) criminal, employment reference, education, and social security. A conviction will not necessarily disqualify you for employment. Rather, such factors as age and date of conviction, seriousness and nature of the crime, and rehabilitation will be considered.
