Make the wheels on our bus go round and round join the KinderCare Education team as a Driver! As a Driver, you are responsible for safely transporting staff and the children we serve to and from school, field trips and other locations.

When you join our team as a Driver you will:

  • Ensure the safety and supervision of children during transport to schools, field trips, and other locations as approved by the Center Director

  • Comply with KinderCare Education and all governmental regulations regarding the care of children

  • Keep the Center Director informed of any necessary information regarding the care and safety of children

  • Help with and take on responsibility in other daily center duties, as needed

  • Transport center vehicle for servicing (oil change, state inspections, etc.), as needed

  • Attend and participate in all staff meetings, center events, and parent/customer meetings, as requested

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day

  • Current driver's license required with no more than three moving violations in the past three years (no alcohol or drug related convictions)

  • Must be at least 21 years of age and able to drive center vehicles

  • CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain

  • Must be able to work flexible hours and assignments

  • Good verbal, listening, and written communication skills

  • At least two years of experience transporting children preferred

  • The ability to lift up to 40 pounds is strongly desired and may be required to work in some classrooms or in the kitchen

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English

VIEW JOBS 10/30/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-28T00:00 Job Summary/Purpose The part-time Food Service Worker (Cafeteria Worker) serves as a cafeteria and/or delicatessen/bakery worker helping in the preparation, presentation and serving of specialty meats, delicacies, preserved foods, cheeses, salads, breads and sweets to patrons. The incumbent assists in weighing, pricing and wrapping selected foods on plates, trays and in bags, prepares food displays in counter cases and other display units, greets customers as they arrive at service counter, takes special orders, and answers basic customer questions about specialty foods. Primary Duties The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review. * Set up food on self-serving lines and portion food for individual servings in accordance with instructions. * Refill cold bars, salad bars, pastry cabinets, condiments, juice dispensers, and set up dining rooms. * Replace glassware, dishes and silverware and refill condiment containers. Wipe and wash tables and countertops. * Clean work area, utensils and equipment; remove garbage; mop floors, walls, windows and tables. * Remove dirty dishes, glasses and silverware from serving counters. Mix washing solutions and operate electric dish washing machine and/or wash dishes, glassware, pots and pans and kitchen utensils by hand. * Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested. Additional Responsibilities * Maintain in a sanitary condition equipment and work areas, utensils and tables * Perform ware-washing, and keep pot and pan areas in order prior to, during and after meals. * Follow correct techniques, cleaning schedules and tasks. * Participate in all other training required by funding source(s) and/or the Corporation such as Human Rights training. Qualifications: Education, Experience and Certification(s) * High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) * One-year food service-related experience preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Strong customer service skills required * Neat, well-groomed appearance required Supervision Received The incumbent is assigned duties according to specified procedure and receives detailed instructions.
