JOB TITLE: Donor Engagement and Business Partner Associate

CLASSIFICATION: Regular Part-Time (RPT) non-exempt 20-22 hours/week

REPORTS TO: WCSG Development Director

DEPT: Radio

LOCATION: Grand Rapids, MI; WCSG

SUMMARY:

This individual manages a portfolio of 500-750 mid-level constituents, communicating the vision, mission and opportunities available with WCSG. The role responds to mid-level business partner and donor questions and executes a directed communication plan for upgrading giving to a higher level of engagement with WCSG, including donations, underwriting, and/or volunteerism. This individual plays a key role in the overall growth of the WCSG broadcast ministry, the core of which is defined and driven by its Christ-centered mission and Biblical confession.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Other duties may be assigned.

• Establishes strategic communication plan for mid-portfolio of individual donors and business partners and executes in a collaborative team environment.

• Records and documents donor intent, activities, and opportunities appropriately in CRM(s) according to internal guidelines and industry best practices, both ethical and operational.

• Utilizes collateral and assets provided by Stewardship and Content Coordinator.

• Communicates strategy to appropriate supervisors to ensure campaign mailing integrity.

• Makes thank you phone calls, sends mailings, solicits for campaigns, asks appropriate questions, and establishes positive donor relationships.

• Collaborates with supervisor and relational team with upgrade opportunities. Migrates donors and constituents to major level of support based upon experience and recommendations.

• Provides technical assistance in traffic management and orders for reps in adherence to station best practices in coordination with traffic management and FCC guidelines.

• Supports organizational financial goals.

• Protects WCSG and stakeholder data and exhibits professionalism.

• Attends and participates in required team meetings.

• All WCSG employees are expected to serve as Christian leaders and mentors by effectively living a gospel-centered lifestyle, ministering and discipling through a biblical worldview.

SALARY AND START DATE:

Salary: $16 - $16.75 per hour, 20-22 hours per week

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

• Associates and/or bachelors degree in Non-Profit Administration, Public / Media Relations, Advertising/Marketing or equivalent experience.

• Experience in using Blackbaud Raisers Edge CRM, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams etc.)

• Storytelling skill set as derived from personal experience, certifications, and/or education is desired.

• Account management and/or traffic management a plus.
