What we offer:

• Hourly rate: $13.78

What you will be doing:

• Types, files, reports, develops spreadsheets, manages databases and performs other related clerical tasks for the department or team.

• Operates a computer to enter, edit, and verify data.

• Maintains data relevant to the department such as vehicle data, personnel data, equipment data, etc.

• May distribute mail and route incoming phone calls for staff.

• Orders supplies, parts or repairs, issues purchase orders, receives orders, stocks orders, and the processes invoices.

• May perform physical inventory and weekly cycle counts relevant to the department related to equipment, supplies, capital investments.

• Maintains confidentiality of all information.

• Dispenses tokens, bus passes and 1/2 Fare Cards Other duties as required.

Education, Licensing, and Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required

Experience Preferred.

• One year of relevant office experience preferred.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

• Ability to work independently with general supervision.

• Able to multitask with conflicting priorities.

• Skills with Microsoft Excel and Power Point.

• Excellent communications, interpersonal, confidentiality and organizational skills essential

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos.

Travel requirement: <10%

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Must submit to drug testing and a background check.

• Will be tested on tools related to job requirements.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.

• 100% of work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well ventilated facilities.

• Work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.

• The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
