Job Summary

The part time Custodian is responsible for a variety of day to day tasks. They will maintains routine cleaning and maintenance procedures to ensure a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations and grounds • Daily from 10am-2pm • Conducts routine building inspections daily and identifies areas requiring follow-up action. • Informs Maintenance Supervisor immediately of areas requiring action. • Performs clean-up tasks on surrounding grounds and structures. • Ensures the cafeteria is fully cleaned thoroughly and mopped daily immediately after lunch. • Receives, stores, and keeps inventory of school custodial supplies. • Assists in setting up facilities for special events. • Assists in setting up for special events off site when needed. • Moves materials, equipment, and furniture as necessary. • Assembles classroom equipment, and furniture when necessary. • Maintains equipment to ensure proper working condition and cleanliness; stores equipment as appropriate. • Required to have prompt, regular attendance for scheduled shifts. • Performs other duties as assigned by an appropriate administrator or their representative.
