Part-Time, Cosmetology Instructor - Raritan Valley Community College

Job Description:

Raritan Valley Community College is seeking a Part-Time Instructor for Esthetics in our Cosmetology Department.

This unique opportunity to lead and motivate our students requires effective instruction through academic and professional preparation of students for state licensure and salon preparedness.

The instructor must uphold the educational standards and policies set forth by the administration to ensure consistency throughout all programs. Candidates must be experienced in teaching Cosmetology.

Requirements:

NJ State Cosmetology License is required.

Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience OR Associate's Degree with 6 years of experience OR a combination of education and experience that is at least the equivalent to above.

Computer knowledge required.

Must complete 20 hours of industry related training annually.

Additional Information:

Work Schedule: 17-24 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
