Part Time Teacher in the Children Center at Odessa College.

Specific Position Duties

• Assisting full time teachers in classrooms with infants up to small children.

Minimum Qualifications

1.The office clerk must meet the staff requirements of the Texas Department of Protective & Regulatory Service Standards for Day-Care Centers;

2.Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or its equivalent;

3.Must have competency in office skills including typing, spelling, and the use of grammar;

4.Must have filing skills and ability to organize, maintain, and retrieve from a large system;

5.Must be proficient in Windows;

6.Must possess maturity and sensitivity, with the ability to relate well to both children and adults;

7.Must have the ability to understand and follow the philosophy of the Odessa College Children's Center;

8.Must supply supportive references and work experience; and

9.Must be able to pass the WorkSTEPS assessment.
