Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Half-Time High School Business Teacher to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching business concepts and preparing students for the business world. This position involves teaching half the school day, focusing on courses such as Introduction to Business, Marketing, Finance, and Entrepreneurship.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet state curriculum standards.

Teach business courses to high school students, ensuring a thorough understanding of the subject matter.

Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, exams, and projects.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.

Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in business education.

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business, Education, or a related field

Valid teaching certification in Kansas.

Proven experience teaching business or related subjects at the high school level.

Strong knowledge of business concepts and practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with diverse learning strategies and differentiated instruction.

Familiarity with educational technology and digital teaching tools.
