PRIMARY FUNCTION: This position is responsible for transporting students to and from assigned education center; controls passenger behavior and maintains safe operation of the assigned bus. This position is part time and routes are assigned as needed and may consist of covering Savannah-Chatham County Public School System runs for early morning, mid-day, afternoon, and local trips.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Incumbents are considered part time, "at will" employees who are scheduled to work no more than 16 hours per week. Appropriate pay will be determined based on the Grade as determined by Human Resources and on step one of the grade. This position is classified as part time, temporary and subject to available funding of the position. School-year part time employees are generally not eligible for benefits, other than legally mandated benefits, such as Social Security, Worker's Compensation Insurance and rights under the Affordable care Act.
