Part-Time Baker & Store Clerk

Position Title: Store Clerk (Part-Time)Location: St. Lawrence Market, Toronto, ONPay: $17.21/hourShift: Flexible (Must be available on Saturday and occasionally on Sundays) Stonemill, a business unit within Bimbo Canada, has a history of being a family bakehouse with over 100 years of European baking heritage. Grupo Bimbo (GB) continuously strives to be a highly productive and deeply “humane” company and strongly believes that the associates of the company are core to its success.Position Description: This is a part-time role, which presents a great opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced facility in the Food Industry. An associate performs a variety of duties such as baking, customer service and some cleaning throughout the day.  This requires good organizational and time management skills.Position Responsibilities: 

• Attractively arrange baked goods in the display cases and on shelves
• Make sure displayed baked goods are fresh, and removes any that could have become stale after some time
• Serves baked goods
• Unload product from delivery trucks into the freezers
• Always maintain a clean work environment
• Helping in baking, proofing, and adjusting the temperature of oven when needed

• Requires a steady hand and ability to pay attention to details
• Physically demanding, must be able to lift 40lbs
• Must have manual dexterity and be able to stand for extended periods
• Able to learn basic food handling and safety concepts
• Must be prepared to work extra hours when required.
• Must be self-motivated, punctual and reliable
• Must be able to follow instruction and work independently

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Effective communication skills including, basic reading and writing skills.
• Experience in handling POS is a plus
