Core Accountabilities: Will assist the Athletic Director in all facets of the athletic program including scheduling, hiring coaches, promoting programs and events, ordering equipment, constructing budgets and facilitating operations.

Responsibilities:

• Attend up to 4 middle school home events per week (on campus events take priority)

• Keep our social media platforms up-to-date (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook) using our Gipper digital imaging software

• Be second in command if the Athletic Director is out, this will be the person in charge

• Assist Athletic Director in day-to-day tasks

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Knowledge of our athletic programs

• Demonstrated leadership and professionalism

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and student athletes

• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

• Knowledge of strengthening and conditioning methods and techniques

• Previous High School or College playing or coaching strongly preferred

Requirements of Employment:

• Compliance with NCHSAA rules and regulations and all other rules outlined in the school code of conduct

• Potential coaches must complete any coaching education courses required to become eligible in their specific sport

• Must be able to obtain CPR Certification (EWA funded)

• Must be trained on EWA Emergency Action Plan Procedures

• Driver's License
