Part-Time Adult Basic Education Teacher's Aide

ANNOUNCEMENT

Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for a part-time, non-union position of Adult Basic Education Teacher's Aide.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, the instructor aide is responsible for assisting an instructor in the classroom. Aides may take attendance, assist with testing, provide information and direction for specific students and help with classroom arrangements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree required.

• Previous teaching experience required.

• Good oral and written communications skills.

STARTING PAY AND HOURS

$26.50 per hour, up to 9 hours per week

WORK LOCATION

Belleville campus
