? Support the acquisition of companies across the entire organization, including Optum and UnitedHealthcare, with valuations ranging from $1 million to $15 billion
? Complete financial and valuation analyses that support the purchase price we ultimately pay for an acquisition target, as well as coordinate and execute the overall M&A process
? Receive access to the senior most individuals within the organization and have an opportunity to build relationships with and learn from these key decision makers
? Coordinate and execute various special projects with executive and business senior leadership, primarily related to the evaluation of potential growth opportunities
There's no question that this is a fast-paced and rigorous environment. You'll need every bit of your analytical skill to be at the forefront of projects that have the potential to change the health care industry. Your professionalism and communication skills will also be put to the test as you gain extensive exposure to key individuals across multiple lines of business throughout our organization and also to senior management of companies targeted for acquisition.
? Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field from an accredited college/university during the duration of the internship (internships are not intended for graduating seniors)
? Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, 3.75 or above preferred
? Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)
