Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk

Nextten Stauer, LLC is currently looking to hire a part-time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Accounting/Finance team at our Burnsville, MN location.

JOB SUMMARY

Working closely with the accounts payable staff accountant, this position coordinates the day-to-day payables processing and vendor communication. Accuracy and the ability to meet reporting deadlines are essential to assist management with financial reporting and analysis.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare and complete daily accounts payable and disbursements process as follows:

• Review and enter all PO and Non-PO Accounts payable transactions

• Maintain the Multiview database for vendor invoices

• Review all outstanding payables and create the weekly wire and check payment schedules

• Work with and maintain positive and effective communication with all key vendors and approvers

• Work with CFO to maintain and update the cash flow forecast

• Process and complete month-end close transactions

• Review and enter expense report and company credit card transactions

• Resolve any memo or other vendor issues

• Assist with preparation of 1099's at year-end

• Reconcile vendor statements to A/P subledger to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Special projects as needed

• Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with MS Excel is required

• Detail oriented, focus on accuracy, completeness and organization
