MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1.Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by an

organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education

Accreditation (CHEA) or by the United States Department of Education

(USDE). Major course work in Criminal Justice, Law, Public

Administration, Social Work, or a related field preferred.

2.Four years full-time, wage-earning criminal justice or social

services experience to include two years in parole, probation, or in

conducting or reviewing administrative hearings

or

current active license to practice law in the State of Texas and one

year full-time, wage-earning criminal justice or administrative law

experience.

Must maintain a current active license to practice law in the State

of Texas during employment with the Board of Pardons and Paroles

through the State Bar of Texas or other appropriate Texas licensing

authority.

3.Computer operations experience preferred.

A writing exercise which may include spelling, grammar,

punctuation, proofreading, letter and/or report composition

may be administered as part of the selection process.

The salary for an ERS Retiree (or non-contributing member) will

be $3,630.96.

The following Military Occupational Specialty codes are generally

applicable to this position. Applicants must fully complete the

summary of experience to determine if minimum qualifications are met.

Strives to achieve goals for cash collections and AR days and to reduce bad debt and denials. Routinely reviews revenue cycle metrics to proactively identify and address issues affecting the overall performance</li> <li>Is actively involved in ensuring Front End Revenue Cycle processes are in place including ensuring the insurance verification is completed on 100% of patients, working with the Financial Counselor to ensure proper determination of patient portions and approval of any discounts or charity and proper logging of upfront collections.</li> <li>Supervises Accounting, Patient Accounting, Health Information Management, Materials Management and other departments assigned by the CEO. These departments may include but are not limited to, Health Information Management, Materials Management, and Human Resources. Ensures the department is adequately staffed and trained.</li> <li>Prepares annual capital budgets and Capital Equipment Requests. Ensures assets and related depreciation is recorded accurately and in compliance with company policies</li> <li>Provides financial leadership and guidance to facility managers.
