Responsibilities

Responsible for the supervision of the Parkwide Paint Crew. Responsible for assisting with the planning, scheduling and implementing the workload, materials procurement and equipment for interior and exterior painting tasks parkwide. Responsible for assisting with drafting Task Statements for review, ensuring correct paint specifications are in place, Condition Assessment deficiencies are implemented, and that any required lead testing is performed and documented. Responsible for the care, maintenance and security of all assigned equipment and tools. Responsible for ensuring quality and professional work and ensuring the proper training is conducted for the individual crew members. Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and complying with all current related codes and regulations. Responsible for assisting with coordination of tasks with Engineering, parkwide trade personnel, location management, and location maintenance managers. Responsible for proper and accurate documentation of all work performed, separated by labor and materials, into the computerized maintenance management system. Responsible for all crew record keeping in the KRONOS timekeeping system/benefit system. Responsible for adhering to Xanterra's Ecologix program. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years professional painter experience or equivalent.

  • Proficiency in supervising personnel in accordance with all Xanterra policies and procedures.

  • Proficient in the operation and safe use of all painting equipment common to the trade.

  • Ability to efficiently schedule tasks to ensure timely arrival of materials and equipment and effective use of personnel.

  • Knowledgeable about historic structures and the various coatings and historic fabric repairs.

  • Must have competent-person training in scaffolding, or able to achieve this designation, and general knowledge of OSHA Fall Protection, Lead and Asbestos programs.

  • Must possess a current, valid, driver's license with a good driving record.

  • Ability to read, understand, interpret and comply with all Xanterra's company policies and procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • This position will require the use of respiratory protection and will require compliance with applicable regulations, including a clean-shaven face and to be able to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.

  • Must be capable of lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Must possess physical stamina to withstand heavy labor related to work in an outside environment.

  • Must be able to walk long distances over uneven terrain and climb stairs and ladders in all types of weather conditions.

  • Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and crawl for extended periods of time as required.

This position does not offer dormitory style housing, must live locally or have an RV. Laundry is located in Columbia Falls, MT. Responsibilities Assists in loading articles into washer and dryers per loading and weight instruction and adds specified amount of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agent. Starts machine that automatically washes and rinses articles. Dries linen coming from washers as per instructions. Sorts dried articles according to identification numbers or type. Folds and places item in appropriate storage bin. Takes and sends linen orders from/to various properties. Folds linen both manually and by folding machine. May be required to help with inventory. Correctly feed linen into automated ironers and folding equipment; maintain production standards at all times. Accurately stack, count, and load clean linens into laundry bins in an efficient timely manner. When at folding table, fold to production standards. Remove bins from dryers and empty linen items out and place in area to be processed. Maintain organization, cleanliness of laundry equipment and assigned work area. Assist in other duties as assigned by Laundry Management. Qualifications Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions accurately. Communication skills. Organizational skills. Frequent standing, walking, reaching outward and above the shoulder for up to eight hours per shift. Repetitive motion of arms, wrist, and hands for up to eight hours. Requires occasional climbing, crawling, and squatting/kneeling. Could total up to 3 hours per day. Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
