Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. One year of experience in the delivery of recreation and/or sports programs or in a customer service or related field. Coursework in Recreation, Physical Education, Park and Recreation Management, Sports Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. Must possess a Driver license. Must be able to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends on a varied work schedule.

This position is responsible for creating, developing, implementing, managing, maintaining, and teaching bike safety to youth and adults, and to help inspire residents to live healthier, active lifestyles through the Bike305 program. Bike305 is Miami-Dade County's cycling initiative which encourages residents to ride bicycles for health, recreation, and commuting. The initiative works with municipalities in developing bike safety programs, community bike rides and cycling infrastructure plans to tie into the Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department's Open Space Master Plan, focusing on trails and connections to destinations.
