Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Three months of experience in customer contact, recreation, or general labor are required. Must be able to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends on a varied work schedule.

Recruitment Notes

This position is responsible for teaching bike safety to youth and adults, and to help inspire residents to live healthier, active lifestyles through the Bike305 program. Bike305 is Miami-Dade County's cycling initiative which encourages residents to ride bicycles for health, recreation, and commuting. The initiative works with municipalities in developing bike safety programs, community bike rides and cycling infrastructure plans to tie into the Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department's Open Space Master Plan, focusing on trails and connections to destinations.
