Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school preferred, some knowledge of tools used in maintenance and construction; some knowledge of the precautions necessary to work safely with and around mechanized equipment; some skill in understanding and carrying out verbal instructions; ability to work under general supervision only.

Certification by American Red Cross in Basic First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or American heart Association CPR is desirable but not required.

Essential Functions: Under general direction, responsible to care for and maintain the sports field/court area in the parks throughout the city, performs a variety of tasks in support of the park maintenance programs. Must have a valid Utah Driver's License; CDL is desired.

Operates mowers and weed eaters; some raking and general clean-up tasks; operates trucks, tractors, and other equipment; may be required to perform work requiring light, medium, and occasionally heavy physical effort; must be semi-skilled in the use of hand tools and some small power tools; may include some light construction and fencing; must be capable of weeding and maintaining Baseball/softball fields; performs a variety of general custodial functions such emptying trash, picking up litter, cleaning windows, sweeping and cleaning dugouts and stands, concessions, restrooms and other areas; performs other duties in connection with the operation of the facility and/or area as may be assigned.

Watch A Day in the Life of a Crown Field Service Technician! click here Mechanic – Auto / Diesel / Forklift Technician Territory: This position is based out of Crown's Salt Lake City Branch location and will provide coverage to Ogden and surrounding areas. Internal Title: Field Service Technician Job Responsibilities: * Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks. * Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks. * Maintain a service van and its inventory. * Process paperwork after completion of each job. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics. * Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills. * Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks. * Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
