Job Description

  • Tentative start mid November

  • Full time and part time positions available

To direct guest (both foot and auto), commercial and employee vehicles for orderly and efficient parking on resort property, and to expedite safe flow of traffic with minimal congestion.

Position Functions / Areas of Responsibility

  • Be alert and attentive to our guests needs.

  • Directs guest, commercial and employee vehicles for efficient parking and traffic flow in resort.

  • Provides information for guests to assist them while navigating in the resort and access to all facilities.

  • Operates 2-way radio for communication with supervisors and co-workers.

Interactions
1.Direct and continuous contact with guests.
2.Direct and continuous contact with co-workers, management, and other departments.
3.Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments.

Skills & Knowledge Technical:

Must demonstrate basic competency in reading , writing, speaking , simple arithmetic and personal interaction.

Must be able to use and 2-way radio and follow appropriate operating protocols.

Administrative:

Must be able to occasionally work and make decisions without direct supervision, if conditions warrant.

Physical:
1.Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
2.Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
3.Must demonstrate ability to bend, kneel, handle, reach, grasp and perform repetitive motions.
4.Work is outdoors and requires constant exposure to cold and other extreme weather conditions.
5.Work is subject to frequent interruptions making continuity and accuracy difficult, frequent exposure to noise.

Overview Brian Head Resort is seeking an experienced individual to manage the Terrain Park operation. The Terrain Park Manager is directly responsible for the overall management of the terrain park operations, including but not limited to; employee scheduling, training, hiring and management, daily opening and closing procedures, special events, feature design, construction and maintenance, and must have knowledge of all terrain park safety procedures. This role requires strong communication and planning skills, and an excellent ability to work with multiple resort departments on a daily basis. Prefer candidates with snow-grooming experiance. Prefer candidates that have had 3+ years working in and around ski/ ride terrain parks. Responsibilities * Responsible for the daily examination and maintenance of all park elements to reduce risk by eliminating hazards to the customers. * Responsible for laborer duties during terrain park construction; shoveling, lifting, raking, digging. * Is knowledgeable of and educates guests on terrain park etiquette and Smart Style * Monitors all elements for risk and closes any and all elements that become unsafe for guests until maintenance can be performed to reopen the feature * Completes all end of the day closing procedures of all parks and features * Responsible for the completion of all terrain park-related forms * Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays Brian Head Acquisition Partners Brian Head UT
