The Parking Lead at Bojangles' Coliseum & Ovens Auditorium is responsible for the customer service experience for customers as they enter and exit the parking amenities at the venues. They will manage the entire traffic policies and processes to ensure a safe, legal, and efficient parking experience for customers in coordination with off-duty police officers hired by CRVA for events.
Essential Job Duties:
Assist with scheduling and assigning the parking event staff to ensure that staffing requirements are met for each event.
Assist with the hiring, training, and supervision of parking event staff members.
Will communicate with the venue managers regarding parking and traffic needs.
Acts as main point of contact for all events in the absence of the Parking Manager.
Partner with emergency services to ensure the parking process meets all legal requirements and follows all safety guidelines.
Accountable for the financial responsibilities of the parking lot including tickets, cash, and credit card receipts.
Manage parking customer relations issues.
Conducts staff meetings prior to each event to ensure the staff receives information accordingly.
Attends staff meetings as required.
Works with other venue personnel as needed.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule which would consist of nights, weekends, and/or potentially holidays.

This job will have periodic access to confidential data including customer quotes, product costs, and company plans, designs, and/or programs.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Language Ability: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Customer Service Ability: Ability to anticipate customer needs, builds positive relationships with customers and vendors, goes the extra mile to satisfy and exceed customer needs, treats all customers and vendors with highest degree of respect and courtesy, and delivers exceptional service to internal and external customers.
Education and Experience
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is strongly preferred.
At least three years of previous parking management experience of an open surface lot with high volume parking usage.
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
