Park Maintenance Worker

Part time 15-25hrs per week

Compensation $15 per hour

Job Requirements

Applicant must be able to work under direct supervision, but also be able to work on and complete independently assigned tasks. Work hours may vary, applicants may work as early as 6a, as late as 8p, and weekends pending various project's needs. This position requires the ability to work for prolonged periods of time on your feet, moderate heavy lifting, and being outside in various temperatures/weather conditions to complete general park maintenance tasks. These tasks include but are not limited to:

• Mowing, weed trimming, and clearing brush needed.

• Maintaining clean parks by picking up or changing trash receptacles

• Clean and inspect restrooms and porta toilets as needed.

• Digging and filling in holes with dirt and rock

• Pruning, trimming, taking down and disposing of trees manually or by chainsaw.

• Sanding, Painting, staining, and sealing different surfaces or structures.

• Ability to learn and identify a variety of plant species in our parks.

• General Maintenance on equipment used.
