Park Area Ambassador

What you will get to do:

Maintains cleanliness throughout the park by conducting various cleaning and detailing requirements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of restaurant patio areas to include tables, chairs and the gathering of service trays

• Sweeps and mops floors, empties trash cans and ensures proper stock in all dispensers.

• Cleans drinking fountains, sinks, counters, mirrors, stall doors, vents, and dispensers.

• Details and cleans all park restrooms and pathways.

• Plunges clogged toilets.

• Restocks and maintains storage rooms and satellite storage areas.

• Ensures excellent customer service by responding to customer requirements, expectations and needs.

• Communicates safety policies to park guests.

• Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors, and our Guests.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Occasionally assist other locations and areas in the park as needed.

• Change trash bags in all trash cans in assigned areas

• Sweep debris from pathways while scanning landscape for trash

• Must be able to walk throughout park

• Must be able to move freely around work areas

• Must be able to bend, reach, twist, and turn with complete flexibility

• Must be able to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions and temperature extremes

• Must be able to work varying shifts/hours based on business need to include opening as early as 8am, med- and closing shifts as late as 12am, weekends and holidays

Qualifications:

• Valid state Driver's License preferred

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to read, write and speak English.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

• Regular use of hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

• Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights, if needed.

• Stand for prolonged periods of time.

• Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)

• Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors, and cold/heat temperature extremes

• Perform cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals

• Must be flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs and career development opportunities

Availability:

• Available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours, i.e. be able to work opening and closing shifts, nights, weekends, and Holidays.

• At least 4 days of unrestricted availability including weekends and holidays during peak season

• At least 3 days of unrestricted availability including weekends and holidays during the off season

Compensation:

• 16.85 USD per hour
