Parents' Day Out Nursery Lead Caregiver

This is the lead caregiver position in our Nursery/Glow Worms class (children 6 -14 months) in our half-day program. This class has a maximum daily enrollment of 4 children.

We are open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM from mid-August to mid-May each school year. Lead teachers/caregivers work approximately 20-22 hours per week. Nursery lead works from 8AM -1PM 4 days per week and attends all lead teacher meetings as scheduled by the Director.

We follow St. Paul's Lutheran K-8 school

schedule for major holidays, school breaks and weather-related closures.

Salary: Hourly

Requirements

Experience in early childhood education or childcare is a plus, but not required.

Candidate needs to be comfortable working with infants and young toddlers. Candidate will perform duties such as feeding bottles, putting them down for naps, changing diapers, engaging in play on the floor, reading books, engaging the children in age appropriate developmental activities and keeping them safe from harm or injury.
