Position Summary:

Assist customers by loading parcels into vehicles; maintain the outside area of the store, and return shopping carts to the inside of the store. Fred Meyer also requires that all associates perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service

  • Load customer parcels into vehicles

  • Recover displays; maintain cleanliness of parcel loading area and outside yard

  • Put away returned merchandise

  • Perform check stand housekeeping tasks

  • Clean spills in Central Checkout (CCK) area and clean/stock restrooms

  • Retrieve carts from parking lot

  • Comply with all corporate policies

  • Promote and follow company initiatives

  • Bag and carry out groceries for customers (where applicable)

  • Maintain flexibility to work any shift

  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Ability to pass drug test

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Accuracy/attention to detail

This employee will actively participate in all academic advisor activities and responsibilities, and serve as a liaison to the college and students that have been assigned. The academic advisor will communicate regularly and provide personalized assistance to all assigned students as they make progress towards their educational goals. They will also work closely with professors, fellow advisors, their immediate supervisor, and university administrators as they provide accurate and helpful information. Key Responsibilities * Schedule and meet regularly with all assigned advisees. * Assist advisees in course registration and monitor academic progress. * Effectively communicate institutional standards for graduation. * Connect students to campus resources as necessary. * Work within the current academic advising initiatives to promote a coordinated, proactive advising environment. * Serve on university committees as requested. * Communicate effectively with all advising entities and other key departments across campus. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in relevant field. Two years of academic advising experience. Knowledge of higher education retention issues and approaches. Knowledge of academic improvement strategies for students in academic difficulty. Possess the ability to work independently and creatively. Possess the ability to work with diverse populations. Strong written, interpersonal, group and public speaking skills.
