As the Parcel & LTL Carrier Management Leader you will lead and be accountable for the strategic development of 3 Parcel (including Green Mountain) and 3 - 4 LTL North America service providers. You are responsible for assessing and driving cost-effective and productive carrier initiatives that impact the supply chain, ensuring seamless execution in supporting and enabling TJX business goals.

Manage the development and execution of the negotiation and contracts strategy to create a sustainable partnership with Logistics Providers

Identify opportunities to improve TJX Logistics Provider strategy, inclusive of Logistics Provider performance, market trends, and demand shifts in the marketplace
Build and maintain relationship with Logistics Providers and serve as the point of contact
Meet regularly with Logistics Providers partners to discuss forecasts and capacity information to improve planning
Develop Parcel and LTL best practices and education of business partners. Analyze parcel/LTL Logistics Providers performance; develop and monitors performance improvement plans. Enforce service requirements for compliance to contractual obligations
Responsibility for Parcel and LTL contractual agreements. Negotiate contract amendments to support new ventures and/or adjustments to existing services.
Research industry performance, standards, and benchmarks to analyze Logistics Providers performance and resolve operational issues.
Collaborate across the business to ensure TJX's evolving Parcel profile is strategically aligned with carrier contracts and industry trends.
Perform spend analysis, market condition analysis, and category planning to identify opportunities for optimization and value creation
Conduct formal Logistics Providers business reviews, and make relationship decisions as appropriate
Engage with relevant stakeholders on KPIs, trends accessorial spikes, as well as potential release of Logistics Providers
Serve as a point of escalation for operational chronic or repetitive issues with carriers
Partner with Green Mountain Technology (GMT) and internal business partners on implementation and management of GMT's Parcel Spend Management (PSM) program
Define and executes negotiation strategy and contracts to create a sustainable partnership with Logistics Providers
Lead, define schedule for, and execute sourcing events on a defined cadence
Procure capacity for special projects and approve spot rates
Develop and negotiate contract language and terms with service providers in partnership with Leader of Carrier Strategy and TJX Legal
10+ years of experience in a logistics leadership/management role with at least 5+ years of experience specifically leading Parcel Carrier Management and/or Procurement
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance, or Legal
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated relationship management and accountability
Exceptional negotiating skills
Expert knowledge of Parcel pricing components/Strong understanding of LTL market
Strong problem solving and analytical mindset
Strong informal influencing
Transportation industry and regulation understanding
Transportation contract knowledge and legal acumen
